Comedy
A dry erase board once held the secret to comedy performance, written by my mentor, Anders Fors:
‘Be funny.’
Below are projects where I’ve lived by those words.

My Leadership Thoughts
2025 - Present: A comedic expression of frustration from years of working for toxic leadership and too much time on LinkedIn: a satirical leadership blog and Instagram (@MyLeadershipThoughts). New thoughts every Monday on the blog and Wednesday on IG.
I tried to monetize the blog with Google Adsense only for Google to deny the request after their review, classifying it as “low quality content” (I mean, they aren’t wrong).

Fun over Fear workshop
2018 - Present: I created this workshop to address the one fundamental a majority of improv schools and improv teachers do not address—how to improvise from a place of relaxation and confidence.
This workshop has applications beyond performance too (what is life but a performance of sorts anyway). A landmark study of one the largest-ever randomized experiments on improv, showed that as little as 20 minutes of improv increases “divergent thinking, tolerance of uncertainty, and affective well-being.”
Participants from all industries, whether it be comedians, business executives, sports professionals, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers, learn how to truly exist in the present moment with ease and fluidity. Great for teams of all sizes, regardless of industry.

Cat's Cradle Improv
2019 - Present: I oversee the selection and direction of the Cat’s Cradle improv ensemble, one of NYC’s longest running improv teams. Under my direction, the team performs a unique blend of highly-physical, abstract, and character driven improv unique to New York. During all 2024 we held a residency at the off-broadway theater, Players Theatre, in NYC.

Improv Ensemble Project
2023 - 2024: I founded a mini improv school with instructors and classes focused on trusting yourself as a performer before attempting any sort of improv form. Students spent 5 weeks exploring the concept of trust in performance and then engaged in ensemble based formats, typically high-energy, abstract, collaborative in nature. The result was a showcase of fluid, fun filled, experimental improv that is only possible once performers are comfortable with themselves on stage.
Next season of the Ensemble Project is TBD but in the meantime I’m available for improv coaching.

The Pursuit of Perfectness Podcast
2021 - 2025: As part of a larger project I co-founded in 2020, the Let’s Hear It podcast network, I produced, and occasionally guested on, The Pursuit of Perfectness podcast. Comedians Ellen Matthews and Dennis Pacheco discussed dealing with perfectionism and how we’re all learning to be less hard on ourselves.

Made Up Talk Show Podcast
2020 - 2022: Part of the Let’s Hear It podcast network I co-founded, I hosted an improvised “podcast podcast” called Made Up Talk Show where guests would bring a clip of a lesser known podcast they’ve been listening to recently. The hook: the podcast they brought was a fully improvised set by myself, my co-host, and the guest. Immense post-production work was done to make the improvised podcast sound as real as possible (we used Audacity so you get what you give quality wise.)

Be funny: here, now, then, always—in every version of your existence.
RIP July 2022
